Observer IT expert, Momodou A. Jallow alias MJ, has been recently certified for successfully completing the Integrated Household Survey (IHS) data collection as enumerator with the Gambia Bureau of Statistics in partnership with World Bank and some other UN branches.
(IHS) is a one-year exercise done to assess the poverty level in a particular country in order to generate data on how expenditure is been done by individuals of different statues. “We did a training on the exercise for two weeks before the exercise proper”, he told Observer Light.
MJ is a 27-year-old IT literate currently working with Daily Observer. He has working experience with the Gambia Independent Electoral Commission and is also broadening his IT knowledge at Lasting Solutions Institute of Management and Technology.
